Brand Ambassador, PeopleMetrics

Derek Criswell, a partner in our Stockton office, was awarded a 2011 Brand Ambassador Award by PeopleMetrics for his excellent customer service.

Distinguished Alumnus, Centralia College

Moss Adams CEO Rick Anderson received Centralia College's 2011 Distinguished Alumnus Award. Rick, who graduated in 1971, is the 34th recipient of the college's highest honor.

50 Top Women in Wealth, Wealth Manager magazine

Moss Adams Wealth Advisors CEO Rebecca Pomering was named to Wealth Manager magazine's 2010 list of the 50 Top Women in Wealth in recognition of her exceptional commitment to her clients and profession.

40 Under 40, North Bay Business Journal

Michelle Ausburn, a senior manager in our Santa Rosa office, took 40 Under 40 honors from the North Bay Business Journal.

40 Under 40, Puget Sound Business Journal

Rebecca Pomering, CEO of Moss Adams Wealth Advisors, was recognized by the Puget Sound Business Journal as one of 2010's 40 Under 40 honorees. She was recognized for her tremendous commitment to her profession and to the Puget Sound region.

Five Star Wealth Manager, Orange Coast magazine

Orange Coast magazine named Corinne Baughman, a partner in our Orange County, California, office, a 2011 Five Star Wealth Manager in the area of taxation. The award is given to those professionals identified by high net worth individuals as excelling in the areas of knowledge and expertise, customer service, integrity, communication, meeting of financial objectives, and overall satisfaction. Only 15 individuals were included in this group for 2011.

Influential Woman of the Year, American Society of Women Accountants

San Francisco partner Wenli Wang's remarkable achievements, her dedication to mentoring, and her involvement in her community earned her the American Society of Women Accountants' Influential Woman of the Year award for the Southwest region in 2010.

Member of the Year, Boys & Girls Club of King County

Tammy Young, our Human Resources Managing Director, received the 2010 Boys & Girls Club of King County's Board Member of the Year Award.

Most Admired Peer, INSIDE Public Accounting magazine

INSIDE Public Accounting magazine named former Moss Adams chairman Bob Bunting one of its Five Most Admired Peers for 2011. The newsletter conducts a national operational and financial survey of CPA firms each year. This year, Bob's name came up repeatedly when the 385 participating firms were asked to name one peer in the profession that they admired.

Most Influential People, Accounting Today magazine

Accounting Today magazine's 2010 Top 100 Most Influential People edition included two leaders from Moss Adams: chairman and CEO Rick Anderson and former chairman Bob Bunting. Rick was recognized for his many achievements, including heading one of the nation's largest accounting firms and chairing the high-profile Blue Ribbon Panel on Private Entity Accounting Standards. He's also a former trustee of the Financial Accounting Foundation, the organization that oversees the establishment of US generally accepted accounting principles. Bob Bunting, a multi-year Top 100 Influencer, was included for his international work and role as president of the International Federation of Accountants.

Native American 40 Under 40, National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development

The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development selected Tasha Repp, a partner in our Bellingham office, as one of its 2011 Native American 40 Under 40. This national honor is awarded to those who have demonstrated leadership, initiative, and dedication to achieve impressive and significant contributions in their businesses, in their communities, and to Indian country.

Outstanding Citizen, East County magazine

Laura Cyphert, a senior manager in our San Diego office, received the Outstanding Citizen Award from East County magazine.

President's Award of Excellence, Healthcare Financial Management Association

Rik Lewis, Director of Sales for our Health Care Consulting practice, received the President's Award of Excellence at the 2011 Healthcare Financial Management Association's Region 11 Symposium in recognition of his volunteer efforts. Rik has previously received four HFMA Washington and Alaska chapter president awards as well as National Bronze, Silver, and Gold merit awards.

SEC Professional Accounting Fellow, Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC)

The SEC tapped John Donohue, a senior manager in our Portland, Oregon office, for a two-year fellowship in the Office of the Chief Accountant that began in 2010.

Women on the Move, YWCA

Lisa Todd, a senior manager in our Albuquerque office, received the 2011 Women on the Move Award at the YWCA Middle Rio Grande annual gala, which celebrates extraordinary women who make significant contributions to their community.

Top 50 Women in Wealth, Research and Investment Advisor magazines

AdvisorOne, the Web site for Research and Investment Advisor magazines, chose Rebecca Pomering, CEO of Moss Adams Wealth Advisors LLC, as one of its Top 50 Women in Wealth for 2011. Rebecca was selected for her accomplishments, thought leadership, and inspiration as a role model.

Woman CPA of the Year, American Women's Society of Certified Public Accountants

The American Women's Society of Certified Public Accountants named Tina Caratan, a retired partner in our San Francisco office, its 2010 Woman CPA of the Year award. Tina was recognized for her leadership, community involvement, and her commitment to the advancement of women in accounting.

Women to Watch, California Society of CPAs (CalCPA)

Carol Suruki, a partner based in our Los Angeles office, was honored by the CalCPA at the 2010 Women to Watch Awards as an Experienced Leader. The award recognizes Carol as one of California's top female CPAs who has made tremendous contributions to the profession.

Women Worth Watching, Diversity Journal

Diversity Journal has recognized San Francisco office partner Wenli Wang in 2011 and our Human Resources Managing Director Tammy Young in 2010 as Women Worth Watching for their commitment, achievements, and inspiring others to break new ground.
