MENTORING RESOURCE GUIDE

Mentoring is a priority at Moss Adams, and it's valuable to not just individual employees but also our firm and the entire accounting profession.

Our guide to mentoring provides practical tips for developing and maintaining successful mentoring relationships. It covers the roles and responsibilities of both mentors and mentees as well as how to build a personal board of directors, choose a mentor, and hold effective meetings.

Accounting MOVE Project

A key sponsor of this groundbreaking national study aimed at providing insight on women in the accounting profession, Moss Adams is pleased to play a role in providing our profession with greater access to the drivers of advancement and retention of women in public accounting.

Washington Society of CPAs’ Women in Leadership Summit

Moss Adams cohosted this event, at which over 150 women from throughout Washington State joined together to learn from local leaders in the profession and some of the nation’s top FBI and US Treasury agents.

InfluenceHer

Moss Adams teamed with the Boys & Girls Clubs of King County as the founding sponsor of a new community program called InfluenceHer. Its mission is to develop a comprehensive programming strategy for girls that address three areas: academic success, leadership, and health. Women from Moss Adams have played a key role in developing programs aimed at helping girls find their voice, see themselves as leaders, become lifelong learners, and make positive choices about their health.

Women of Inspiration Awards

Moss Adams teamed up with the WNBA’s Seattle Storm to honor four local women for their outstanding accomplishments and dedication to serving communities all over the world.  Watch the video 

Dress for success—Send one suit

Dress for Success is an international not-for-profit dedicated to providing disadvantaged women with professional attire, a network of support, and the career development tools needed to thrive in work and life. Every year our employees participate in Dress for Success's annual Send One Suit drive by donating gently used women’s suits, professional apparel, accessories, and monetary contributions. Last year, we collected over 1,000 items!
