Carisa’s accounting career has been incredibly rewarding. “It’s great to work with committed and dedicated people, help a variety of clients, and make a difference in the lives of both,” she says. Carisa came to Moss Adams because we’re large enough to provide a well-rounded career experience but small enough for a personalized career path. As an assurance partner, she has served clients in the technology and manufacturing industries, focusing on public companies, including a two-year research role. As the managing partner of our San Diego office and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, Carisa enjoys the opportunity to contribute to our strategy and vision. She also likes being able to mentor others in the office and to see them grow.

What Carisa finds unique about Moss Adams is that we believe people should focus on what they’re passionate about, and we connect them with those opportunities. Also unusual is the open communication that exists at all levels of the firm. “Anyone can offer their input or suggestions, and their opinions really matter,” she says. What also matters is work-life balance, which benefits even those in busy leadership roles. “I get to spend time with my family,” Carisa says, “whether that means golfing, dirt biking, camping, mountain biking, going to the movies, or going to my sons’ lacrosse games.”
