PROFILE
Rebecca started with Moss Adams in our consulting practice after graduating from college. Early in her career she worked on benchmarking and industry research for independent wealth management firms. She helped build this knowledge into a consulting practice focused on that industry, and over the next 10 years she provided consulting to many wealth management firms. This experience gave her the foundation needed to become the CEO of Moss Adams Wealth Advisors—our wealth management division—in 2008. This change allowed her to follow a new career path in an area she really enjoys. It’s the opportunities and the people she finds most appealing about working here. “The supportive environment and great coaching make it possible to reinvent yourself at Moss Adams,” she says. “It’s never boring—the people here are very high-energy and innovative.”
STORY
Rebecca thrives on opportunity and the ability to make an impact. “I’ve been lucky to have great mentors and work with a wonderful group of people at Moss Adams,” she says. “I’m proud of our people and the work we do. I like that our work is meaningful and that it can be life-changing for our clients.” Rebecca encourages the people she mentors to “think broadly about what you want to do and follow your passion.” She’s been able to follow her passion at work and outside of work. “I’ve always been able to have work-life balance here—even with two kids,” she says. This balance allows her to maintain meaningful relationships with friends around the country, to follow her other passions for traveling and watching sports, and to pursue hobbies like sailing, reading, and learning about wine. Most of all, she appreciates time with her family: “I really love watching my kids discover the world.”
