Giving and Involvement
In the many communities in which we live and work, dedicated employees work countless hours to make the dreams of families and children a reality through outreach, volunteerism, and charitable donations. The firm directly contributes to medical research, food banks, disaster relief, culture and the arts, education, and the environment.
The Moss Adams Foundation
Moss Adams recognizes our responsibility to ensure that quality university business and accounting programs thrive within our communities and are accessible to students who desire them. We have a long-standing commitment to support accounting programs at colleges and universities throughout the West through the Moss Adams Foundation, which provides financial assistance to students and faculty. This giving program is successful in large part because of the efforts of our partners and employees. Through their contributions and the matching funds the foundation provides, we donate generously to higher education institutions.
Professional Associations
Moss Adams gives back to the accounting profession in many ways. Our people participate on boards and committees at the state, national, and international level, and we provide financial support to a variety of organizations that support the accounting profession. In recent years Moss Adams partners have been elected president of two state societies of CPAs and have been members of three state boards of accountancy. We have numerous partners and employees on AICPA and state CPA society committees, and our past and present CEOs have held—and continue to hold—influential roles in national and international professional organizations.
Going Green
Moss Adams is committed to balancing environmental stewardship with our firm’s overall goals and operations. Thanks to the grassroots efforts of our partners and employees, we launched the Moss Adams Green Initiative, designed to, among other things, help reduce personal power consumption and increase our office recycling programs. We also provide employee encouragement and incentives to limit our carbon impact, and we work with like-minded vendors and clients who are aligned with our green practices.
