We serve a variety of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, construction and real estate, health care, financial services, technology and life sciences, apparel, higher education, dealerships, hospitality, professional services, telecommunications, forest products, food processing and agriculture, and utilities. Because of our clients’ size, you’ll typically be dealing with client personnel who have a key role in the company’s operations. This will give you firsthand insight into how the company functions and the environment in which it operates.
DO YOU PROVIDE SERVICES TO PUBLIC COMPANIES?
Yes. We’re the independent auditor of record for more than 90 SEC registrants, and we provide consulting and tax services to over 100 others. The companies we work with have a broad range of market capitalizations, and we offer them considerable value over the larger national firms for their size and complexity.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN MOSS ADAMS OFFICES?
The size of our offices varies from a few dozen employees to over 200. Our 20 offices are located in both large and medium-sized markets and cities. Although each office is consistent in applying our policies and procedures, the traditions and culture of the surrounding community affects the lifestyle and industry focus of our professionals. We’ve succeeded in both larger and smaller markets in our nearly 100 years of being in business, and we remain committed to both.

DOES MOSS ADAMS PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION?

WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR PERFORMANCE REVIEWS?
Each employee is assigned a Career Advisor who is in place to help staff direct their careers at Moss Adams and to aid in the performance review process. You will meet with your Career Advisor formally twice per year to discuss performance, set goals, and help guide your career path. You’ll benefit directly from investing in your advisor-advisee relationship and making sure you understand what’s expected of you in your role and in future roles at the firm. Our top performers are typically those who take ownership of their career development and performance.
HOW MUCH DO MOSS ADAMS TEAM MEMBERS TRAVEL?
This varies by office. Ask your office recruiting team during your interview about the percentage of travel required.
CAN I TRANSFER TO ANOTHER MOSS ADAMS OFFICE AT SOME POINT IN MY CAREER?
Yes. Moss Adams may be made up of 20 different offices, but we’re still one firm, and we strive to meet the needs of each individual as well as each practice. Transfer requests require approval from both offices’ respective managing partners, and approvals are based on employee performance and office workloads.
DO YOU HAVE A PAPERLESS SYSTEM FOR CLIENT ENGAGEMENTS?
Yes. We use Pfx Engagement for paperless audit and tax work papers. We also integrate proprietary audit software into each engagement for audit planning and programs.
