2011 Moss Adams and Western Independent Bankers Community Bank Compensation Survey


The 2011 Bankers Compensation Survey results include responses from 120 institutions ranging in size from less than $49 million to over $2 billion in total assets. The survey results are now available.

The results of the survey provide useful information and serves as a guide to banking professionals in career and business planning with:

  • Benchmarks in salary and bonus structures for the Western United States
  • Salary differentials for institution size and geographic locations
  • Benefits and salary packaging for the banking community
The information in the survey results has been separated into three distinct sections:

  • Executive compensation and benefits
  • Board of Directors compensation
  • Non-executive compensation and benefits that includes information for branch managers, chief information officers, commercial loan officers. controllers/cashiers, human resources directors, internal auditors, loan servicing manager, mortgage loan officer, real estate managers.
Compensation and benefit information has been provided in all three sections based on asset size with executive compensation further summarized by geographic region.
