Moss Adams Names Eric Miles Group Leader for Technology, Communications & Media

Campbell, Calif., December 4, 2013 — Moss Adams LLP, the largest accounting and business consulting firm headquartered on the West Coast and one of the largest in the nation, today announced it has named Eric Miles to lead its technology, communications and media group. Composed of four industry-focused practices—technology, communications and media, life sciences and clean technology—the group is made up of professionals spread across 22 offices in six states.

“I’m very enthusiastic about taking on this new role,” Miles said. “Our technology, communications and media practices are growing, bolstered by our combination last year with Mohler, Nixon & Williams. It’s given us even deeper experience serving the entire life cycle of tech companies, from start-up to IPO. We’re well-equipped to grow right alongside our clients and the tech industry in general, and I’m looking forward to keeping that momentum going.”

Miles, a 16-year veteran of the firm, where he has spent his entire professional career, has a background in enterprise risk management, internal audit and other risk mitigation strategies, including IT audits and fraud detection and prevention. In addition to being a CPA, Miles is a Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified in Financial Forensics and holds a Certification in Inventory Management.

A graduate of Pacific Lutheran University, Miles earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting before pursuing an MBA in Finance from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management. He is based in the firm’s Silicon Valley office.
