Though differences exist between a cooperative’s objectives and the member dairy farms, there is also clearly an interrelationship. We know the impact issues such as taxation and capital retention have on dairy farmers while at the same time can relate to the unique pressures of the cooperative’s board members. We have seen both sides of the equation.
