Team Bios

Wiley P. Kitchell

Mr. Kitchell is a Managing Director of Moss Adams Capital LLC. In this capacity, he specializes in advising companies and middle-market business owners who wish to sell their companies or who need to raise debt or equity capital in order to pursue expansion or acquisition opportunities.

Mr. Kitchell has over 15 years of investment banking experience working with privately-owned companies. Prior to joining Moss Adams Capital, he was a Managing Director and co-founder of The Commerce Bank's Corporate Finance Group based in Seattle where he specialized in arranging private equity transactions for companies located in the Pacific Northwest. Prior to that position, Mr. Kitchell served as First Vice President and Manager of the Corporate Finance Group at Security Pacific Bank of Washington (formerly Rainier Bancorporation). Mr. Kitchell commenced his investment banking career with Goldman Sachs in New York.

Mr. Kitchell received a B.A. degree in Economics and Anthropology from Duke University, and a MBA in Finance from Northwestern University.

Harman K. “Jet” Wales

Mr. Wales is a Managing Director of Moss Adams Capital LLC. In this capacity, he specializes in advising owners and entrepreneurs who wish to sell their middle-market company or who need new investors to supply growth capital for expansion or acquisition opportunities.

Prior to this position, he was the Senior Vice President and Managing Director of U.S. Bank's Investment Banking Group based in Seattle. Before joining U.S. Bank, he was an Investment Manager with Prudential Capital Corporation in New York and San Francisco. Earlier in his career, he was a member of Citicorp’s Leveraged Finance Group in Los Angeles. His previous experience includes eight years as an officer in the United States Air Force, during which he was assigned to a Fighter Squadron and, while posted at the Pentagon, worked directly with the Senate and House of Representatives as a Congressional Liaison for the Department of Defense.

Mr. Wales received a B.S. degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Richard M. Anderson

Mr. Anderson is a Managing Director of Moss Adams Capital LLC. In this capacity, he advises owners and management teams who wish to address liquidity and growth alternatives for shareholders and corporations. Merger & acquisition assignments include the sale of businesses, acquisitions, re-capitalizations and management buy-outs. The Corporate Finance assignments include arranging private equity and debt capital to finance internal growth and acquisitions.

Prior to this position, Mr. Anderson was a SVP with Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Company (“FBR”), a publicly-owned investment bank, where he managed Merger & Acquisition and Corporate Finance assignments for public and private businesses. Before joining FBR, he was a Director with Trenwith Securities, a boutique investment bank, where he assisted middle market companies in arranging private equity and debt capital and in buy-side or sell-side assignments. Earlier in his career, Mr. Anderson was a SVP with NationsBank, where he managed the Western United States Region and was the bank’s liaison to their Capital Markets group.

Mr. Anderson earned his undergraduate degree in Finance and Economics from Ohio State University in 1983 and his MBA degree from Pepperdine University in 1987.

Robert Cherry

Mr. Cherry is a Managing Director of Moss Adams Capital LLC. In this capacity, he specializes in advising middle-market companies and business owners who wish to sell their companies, raise debt or equity capital, or pursue acquisitions or other strategic opportunities.

Mr. Cherry has over 20 years of Investment Banking and Business Management experience, including mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, IPOs, public offerings, private equity / venture capital raises and restructurings, as well as new business development and financial management. He specialized in M&A and Corporate Finance in the middle-market and venture capital / technology markets while serving as Senior VP at Wedbush Morgan Securities and as a VP at Trenwith Securities.

Prior to this, Mr. Cherry served as a Director of Business Strategy at Northrop Grumman’s Corporate Headquarters. In addition to corporate merger & acquisitions, he also worked on corporate strategy, joint ventures, and new corporate ventures. He also held a number of management positions in Engineering Business Management / Controller and Contracts & Pricing / New Business Development.

Mr. Cherry earned his MBA from the Peter Drucker Management Center at the Claremont Graduate School, with an emphasis in Strategy, and holds a B.S. in Engineering, with a minor in Economics, from UC San Diego’s Revelle College

Timothy May

Mr. May is a Director with Moss Adams Capital LLC. In this capacity, he specializes in advising companies and middle-market business owners who wish to sell their companies, need to raise debt or equity capital in order to pursue expansion or acquisition opportunities, or plan to execute complex financing transactions, including management buyouts and leveraged recapitalizations.

Mr. May has nine years of investment banking experience providing strategic advisory and capital raising services to private and public companies. Prior to joining Moss Adams Capital, he was a Vice President at JPMorgan, where he worked for eight years in the Investment Banking and Mid-Corporate Groups in New York and San Francisco. Prior to that position, Mr. May served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Bolivia for over 3 years.

Mr. May received a B.A. degree with honors in International Studies from the University of St. Thomas, and a M.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.

Geoffrey B. Haydon

Mr. Haydon is a Vice President with Moss Adams Capital LLC. In this role, he advises middle market business owners who wish to sell their company, make strategic acquisitions, or raise capital for growth.

Prior to this position, Mr. Haydon was a Vice President at Haydon U.S., a boutique financial restructuring firm in Seattle which he co-founded. In this role, Mr. Haydon provided transaction and consulting services for financially distressed, middle market companies. Previously, Mr. Haydon was an Analyst with JP Morgan in New York, where he worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions group. Mr. Haydon began his career as a Summer Analyst for two years with investment bank Friedman Billings Ramsey, in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Haydon received a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University.
