Biography

Robert “Bob” Reynolds has over 30 years of experience in income & franchise tax planning and dispute resolution. Prior to joining Moss Adams, Bob was a senior audit manager with the California Franchise Tax Board (FTB). 

During his 12 years with the FTB, he specialized in overseeing examinations of Fortune 500 companies throughout the United States. He also performed and managed personal income tax examinations of high net worth individuals involving residency and income sourcing.

In public practice, Bob has served private clients, executives and many of the largest companies in the world. He has also successfully represented individual and corporate clients before the California Office of Tax Appeal (formerly the State Board of Equalization).

Bob is past Chair of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) and serves as Chairman of CalCPA’s Government Relations Committee. He is a recipient of the CalCPA Committee on Taxation’s Saul Braverman Memorial Award for his contributions to the tax profession.
