John has practiced public accounting since 1980, and exclusively serves financial institutions. John works with public and private, for-profit and not-for-profit financial institutions. He routinely works and meets with industry experts, service providers, and regulators from all agencies throughout the West Coast region and on a national level. John manages financial audit engagements for public and nonpublic clients providing management recommendations for cost savings and efficiency improvements; assisting with regulatory compliance and implementation issues; initiating profitability enhancements; and developing, projections, forecasting, and feasibility analyses. He also provides merger and acquisition consulting, including analyzing targets and structuring transactions to maximize both economic and tax benefits; offers strategic planning, board training, and technical consulting; and consults on risk management evaluations, identifying types of risks, and levels of exposure.
John has an MBA in accounting from Portland State University and a BS in business from the University of Oregon.
