Biography

Ryan has practiced public accounting since 2001, primarily serving alternative investment funds and their investment advisors, including Small Business Investment Companies (SBIC) funds and emerging cryptocurrency investment issues. He has significant expertise in working with many types of investment vehicles and classes, particularly in valuation, as well as strategies used by investment companies.

Ryan also specializes in all aspects of employee benefit plan audits, including 401(k) plans, pension plans, health and welfare plans, and SEC 11-K filing requirements. He has presented at regional and national conferences as an employee benefit plan audit authority to plan sponsors, plan advisors, and other CPAs on topics such as audit compliance, fiduciary responsibility, and overall best practices.
