Bob Bunting, chairman of the Moss Adams LLP International Services group and president of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), has been invited to speak before a meeting of the World Bank in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, April 16.
Addressing the global economic crisis head-on, Bunting is expected to discuss the role the accounting profession in general, and IFAC in particular, can play in helping to shape stronger, fairer financial-reporting regulations. Bunting is a proponent of a single worldwide auditing standard, believing this approach provides the greatest benefit to investors as well as public and private entities of all sizes.
