Agreed Upon Procedures
Agreed upon procedures (AUP) engagements, as prescribed by the AICPA, allow specified parties to have Moss Adams serve as an independent practitioner in order to perform the procedures established by both parties.
We are experienced in conducting AUP engagements and working to ensure we are provided a set of procedures upfront that are sufficiently clear and precise, and address the nature, timing, and extent of the work to be done. Such planning helps avoid circumstances in which there is sufficient ambiguity encountered in the midst of the engagement that would inhibit our ability to complete the work.
Once the AUP engagement has been performed, our experienced staff can provide a report containing results that are clear and easily used by the specified parties. Moss Adams has a diverse range of subject matter experts, allowing us to assemble a project team capable of addressing the unique technical matters that may be involved.
