Dena Herbolich, Partner, Moss Adams

Dena has practiced public accounting since 1993. She leads Moss Adams’ Washington region employee benefit plan audit services and assists with firm-wide benefit plan education and quality control. Her benefit plan practice includes audits and consulting for defined contribution and defined benefit retirement and health plans, including employee stock ownership, cash balance, and complex investment arrangements.

Susan Mehlman, Director, Moss Adams

Susan leads our Compensation and Benefits Practice and has provided qualified and nonqualified plan design and consulting services since 1987. She delivers a wide range of tax solutions, including health and welfare plan tax consulting, to both public and privately held businesses.

Kellis Borek, Vice President, Labor & Legal Sevices General Counsel, Archbright

She oversees Archbright’s team of attorneys and HR Advice professionals who provide advice and counsel regarding all aspects of Local, State and Federal employment and labor law to employers in Washington, Idaho and Oregon. On behalf of employers, she bargains labor contracts, responds to NLRB matters and provides advice and counsel concerning wage and hour, leave laws, discrimination, labor laws, labor contract administration and regulatory compliance. Kellis is co-chair of the City of Seattle Labor Standards Commission which provides input and feedback to the Office of Labor Standards on the implementation of labor standards ordinances. Kellis is a veteran attorney of 30 plus years.

Victor Less, Senior Consultant, Verus

Victor serves his clients from Verus’ corporate headquarters located in Seattle, Washington. He has been involved in the investment consulting industry since joining Verus in 1990. With over twenty‐seven years of industry experience, he has worked with a broad array of institutional clients, including major corporations with defined benefit and defined contribution plans, endowments and foundations, public funds, and Taft‐Hartley trusts.

Thomas Garrett, Senior Associate Director, Strategic Research, Verus

Thomas is primarily responsible for supporting the firm’s capital markets research efforts, including the creation and oversight of materials for annual market reviews and outlooks, thought leadership on capital market forecasts and models, and the development of top-down portfolio views.
