Chris Bell, CPA, Partner, National Practice Leader, Medical Groups and Physicians, Moss Adams

Chris Bell is the national tax leader of Moss Adams Health Care Practice and is the national leader of the Medical Groups & Physicians practice. Bell has practiced public accounting since 2005, providing tax, strategic planning, and transaction planning services to health care organizations. He's a frequent speaker and author on the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, tax reform, the Affordable Care Act, and health care policy. Prior to joining Moss Adams, Bell worked in the health care industry for several years.

Kevin Cable, Co-founder and Managing Director, Cascadia Capital

Kevin Cable is co-founder and Managing Director of Cascadia Capital. He founded the firm’s efforts in health care and digital health, drawing from a deep history in software, analytics, big data, and consumer applications. Cable focuses on a broad spectrum of transactions that include equity private placements, M&A mandates, recapitalizations, and buyouts. Having built a career split equally between operating companies and investment banking, Cable brings a grounded and balanced perspective to help companies achieve their transaction goals.

Eric Klein, Esquire, National Healthcare Team Leader and Partner, Sheppard Mullin

Eric Klein is a nationally-recognized health care lawyer, and is team leader of the 170+ attorney national health care practice of Sheppard Mullin. Klein is one of the most active physician group and hospital M&A lawyers, having advised on more than 60% of all major managed care physician group transactions in the Western United States in the past five years. With over 30 years of practical legal and business experience, his practice focuses on health care, technology, and related industries. Klein has helped to create, acquire, joint venture, and operate multiple health plans across the country, including for Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, commercial, and exchange products. He has led over 60 health plan merger and acquisition projects in recent years.

Chris Pritchard, CPA, Partner, Group Leader, Health Care Practice, Health Care Consulting, Moss Adams

Chris Pritchard has practiced public accounting since 1991, serving integrated health systems, federally-qualified health centers, managed care organizations, ambulatory surgery centers, Knox-Keene-licensed health plans, rural and regionally integrated hospitals, rural and community-based primary care facilities, outpatient care facilities, outpatient surgery centers, large medical groups, independent physician associations, and third-party payers. Pritchard is a former member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) national Health Care Expert Panel, where he provided technical guidance on various publications. He has published national articles and speaks frequently on health care financial reporting and other current topics.

Arnie McClellan, Partner, Moss Adams Transactions, Moss Adams

Arnie McClellan is a partner and member of Moss Adams Transaction Services group and the firm wide leader for M&A Tax Services. McClellan has practiced public accounting since 1984, and works closely with private equity firms and public and privately held companies, advising them on tax structuring matters, financial and tax due diligence, and assisting them with closing M&A transactions. McClellan has over 30 years of transaction experience. Prior to joining Moss Adams, he worked in Atlanta, New York, London, San Francisco, and Los Angeles at Big Four and regional firms.

Ryan Glaws, Partner, Excellere Partners

Ryan Glaws is a Partner with Excellere Partners and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and Management Committee. He joined Excellere in 2007 and has over two decades of health care-focused investing experience in the middle market. During his tenure at Excellere, Glaws has completed more than seventeen health care acquisitions, including MedExpress Urgent Care, MTS Medication Technologies, AxelaCare Health Solutions, Mentis Neuro Health, AIS Healthcare, Biocare Medical, and Concord Technologies. Glaws currently sits on the boards of AIS Healthcare, Biocare Medical, Concord Technologies and ParcelShield. Prior to joining Excellere Partners, Glaws worked in GE Capital’s health care leveraged finance group. He earned his Bachelor’s of Business Administration (cum laude) from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio with a major in finance and a minor in economics and was awarded his CFA Charter in 2005.
