Liliana O. Salazar, Esq., Chief Compliance Officer - Western Region, HUB International Limited

Liliana possesses 20 years of experience in addressing the compliance and regulatory needs of employers and their group health plans. She actively worked with carriers and clients in ensuring their compliance with the HIPAA Privacy, Security, and HITECH Act rules, GASB 45 obligations, and more recently the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA or ACA). Prior to joining HUB, Liliana was National Practice Leader for the Employee Benefits Compliance Practice of Wells Fargo Insurance Services, and Vice President of Compliance for ABD Insurance Services.

Anita works with tribal governments and specializes in financial statement audits and single audits under the standards required by OMB for tribal governments. She also has experience working with tribal housing authorities, health facilities, schools, casinos, and other tribal enterprises. Having served various tribal governments and their enterprises throughout the country, Anita is able to provide valuable insight and best practice recommendations to tribes about their internal controls, policies and procedures, and overall operational improvements.
