Sid has practiced taxation since 1978, with a focus on federal income and estate taxation of automobile dealerships. He leads the tax practice within the firm’s national Automotive & Dealer Services Practice, and serves on the firm’s Dealer Services Group Steering Committee and Business Transition Committee. In addition to authoring articles on ownership succession and other matters pertinent to dealership taxation issues, he is a nationally recognized speaker at automotive organizations, including 20 Groups and dealer consulting groups. Sid is regularly retained to consult on taxation issues relating to dealer shareholder agreements, entity structuring, acquisitions, and reorganizations. He has also taught continuing professional education seminars and college-level classes.
