Tony has practiced public accounting since 1979. He has substantial experience and research capabilities in taxation and government contract accounting. Tony’s experience includes:
- Government contract accounting, including DCAA matters, FAR, and CAS
- Representing clients before the IRS
- Entity selection and ownership transition
- Estate and gift planning and preparation
- Employee benefit and ESOP planning
- IRC Section 108 debt forgiveness issues and NOL utilization planning
- Reorganizations of groups, including tax-exempt and taxable holding companies, taxable subsidiaries, and supporting organizations
- Financial accounting: audits, reviews, and compilations
Tony has written numerous articles, conducted statewide seminars, and is a frequent speaker on business and tax matters. He is a frequent contributing author for the New Mexico Professional Aerospace Contractors Association. Tony also spent two years working for the Internal Revenue Service while earning his degree from Weber State University.
