Moss Adams and Southwest Consulting Associates Combine to Create Leading, Enterprise-Wide Health Care Reimbursement Solution

SEATTLE, Nov. 19, 2019—Moss Adams, one of the largest accounting, consulting and wealth management firms in the nation, has agreed to combine with Southwest Consulting Associates (SCA), a national leader in reimbursement services for hospitals and health-system organizations.

Effective January 1, 2020, the combination grows the Moss Adams Health Care Consulting Practice and quadruples the size of the firm’s existing cost-reimbursement team. It also substantially expands the scope of service offerings to nationwide hospitals and health-system organizations.

Founded in 1989 in Plano, Texas, SCA has been at the forefront of providing financial consulting services to health care providers for the past 30 years. Having served more than 400 clients across the United States, SCA offers a diverse range of services, including:

  • Worksheet S-10 uncompensated care reporting
  • Medicare Disproportionate Share reimbursement
  • Medicare cost report appeals
  • Provider reimbursement support
