The surge in inflation in 2021 and 2022 resulted in the Federal Reserve shifting to a full Volcker mode, raising rates five times between March and September of 2022. Housing activity and prices are weakening, financial asset values have declined, and the dollar soared. Growth slowed in 2022 far more than expected.

Join us for our webcast, 2022 State of the Economy: Shifting Gears. We’ll discuss the state of the economy and factors that have contributed to conditions. Key topics include:

  • Implications for 2023
  • COVID-19 and labor markets
  • How a potential recession could affect businesses
