We’re excited to announce our 2021 Construction Industry Salary Survey is open and will run through July 30, 2021. We’d love to have you participate—this survey isn’t possible without valuable insights from companies such as yours.

The survey helps us create a comprehensive industry report on compensation trends that provide contractors with comparative information—especially vital for an industry in which such data is difficult to obtain or present in a meaningful way.

About the Report

Available in Fall 2021, this report will be a useful tool for contractors in the United States to measure their employee compensation against industry peers and prepare their strategies for the years ahead.

This complimentary report covers a range of topics impacting construction industry professionals, including:

  • Comprehensive salary and benefits data for executives and industry specific personnel
  • Trends in salary and bonus structures
  • Salary differentials by revenue size and geographic region

About the Survey

The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete and includes the option to save unfinished answers and return later. We recommend having the following information on hand:

Company Information
  • Annual revenue
  • Current number of full-time-equivalent employees
  • Union status
  • Primary contractor type, such as general contractor or electrical
  • Primary construction type, such as commercial, heavy or highway, or residential
Compensation Information
  • Average annual-base salary and incentives or bonuses for executive and industry specific roles within your organization
  • Compensation strategies
  • Benefits

All survey data is held in strict confidence. The raw data and associated participant identities are accessible only to authorized Moss Adams survey staff.

Only aggregate data is disclosed in the statistical reports and other analyses, and it’ll only be aggregated in groupings that have a sufficient number of participants to ensure the information of any individual participant isn’t disclosed.
