Learn how CHI St. Gabriel’s used a team-based approach to combat the opioid crisis in rural Minnesota.  By using a nurse and social worker, this dedicated team works closely with community organizations and law enforcement to gain additional insight into patients in efforts to keep their community safe and healthy. Their team-based program has substantially reduced narcotic prescribing and diversion, and resulted in the successful launch of Project ECHO.
