Biography

Carleen has practiced public accounting since 1990. She provides business consulting, tax planning and tax compliance services for corporations, flow-through entities and their shareholders and partners with a focus on construction, real estate, and professional service firms, and technology, and life sciences businesses. Carleen helps clients develop strategies through tax planning, entity structuring, ownership transitions, and related issues. She provides innovative solutions to operational issues, and various transactions, including equity/debt structuring, like-kind exchanges and state tax planning. Carleen approaches client service through collaboration, actively engaging with clients throughout the year to understand their needs and develop solutions that are well suited for their business.

Carleen is the lead tax partner in the Seattle Office Construction & Real Estate Group, a member of the firm-wide Real Estate Tax Steering Committee, and the cost segregation group leader for the Seattle office.
