Biography

Akshaya has worked in public accounting since 2009, focusing on business valuation and litigation. She manages and performs valuations for financial reporting, tax compliance, gift and estate tax planning, stock-based compensation, M&A, strategic planning, and litigation and dispute support. In previous roles, Akshaya performed tax provision and compliance and has a strong understanding of tax implications and financial analysis.

Akshaya works with clients in a wide array of industries, including oil and gas, renewable energy, power and utilities, manufacturing and distribution, construction, life sciences, and technology. Her experience includes assignments involving ASC 805 and IRC 1060 intangible asset valuation and purchase price allocation for financial reporting and tax, ASC 350 goodwill impairment analyses, ASC 820 business valuation, ASC 718 valuation of common stock for privately held companies, and pre-acquisition planning valuations. She also specializes in the valuation of complex financial securities including various forms of equity issued as stock-based compensation with conversion features which involve detailed modeling. Akshaya also has experience in valuations projects that include restructuring efforts.
