Biography
Alex has practiced public accounting since 2006 and leads the Pacific Northwest Real Estate Industry Group. He provides comprehensive business and tax planning services to closely held companies and their owners, with a client base that includes real estate development firms, owners, operators, and private equity, as well as general contractors and manufacturing and distribution companies.
Alex centers on enhancing cash flow and increasing tax deductions through value-added services, including cost segregation and depreciation analysis, self-employment tax planning, entity classification elections such as LLC to S corporation conversions, 1031 exchange planning, real estate acquisition and disposition transactions, Section 199A qualified business income deduction strategies, basis calculations, and multistate tax compliance and planning.
