Biography

Brent has practiced public accounting since 2011. He offers tax services to closely held businesses and their proprietors, with a focus on the forest products and real estate sectors. His expertise encompasses planning for timber capital gains under Internal Revenue Code Sections 631(a) and 631(b), advising on 1033 involuntary conversions, and assisting in business entity organization, restructuring, and timber investment. Additionally, Brent guides businesses through Qualified Opportunity Zone compliance and tax benefits as well as succession planning.

Before joining Moss Adams, Brent worked at a local credit union and a CPA firm in Eugene.
