Since 2013, Cody has provided business valuation and consulting services to clients for tax compliance, gift and estate tax planning, financial reporting, consulting, and litigation support services.
Prior to his valuation work, Cody performed financial statement audits for both private and public companies. He has a strong understanding of financial statement reporting requirements and financial analysis techniques.
Cody leads and oversees in the valuation of operating companies, family limited partnerships, limited liability companies, and privately held promissory notes for a variety of purposes, including gift tax planning and reporting, estate planning, potential sale and acquisition, and corporate planning.
Cody’s financial reporting valuation experience includes assignments involving ASC 805 intangible asset valuation and purchase price allocation, and IRC 409A and ASC 718 valuation of common stock for privately held companies.
