Biography

Fred has been practicing public accounting since 1995, primarily assisting fast-growth, dynamic domestic and multinational companies in the consumer products, retail, and technology industries. Fred serves as the lead partner and engagement quality review partner primarily on audits of public companies. He is also a member of the firm’s national office where he focuses on emerging issues that impact the firm’s public company clients and where he is consulted on complex audit and accounting matters. His areas of expertise include business combinations, international audit and accounting requirements, stock-based compensation, intangibles and goodwill, offerings of debt and equity securities, and SEC regulatory matters. In his role in the national office he focuses on emerging issues that impact the firm's issuer assurance practice and also serves as the SEC technical reviewer for client registration statements filed with the SEC.

Fred’s experience includes two years as a professional accounting fellow in the Division of Corporation Finance at the SEC in Washington DC, which provided an in-depth understanding of regulatory accounting and reporting issues impacting public companies. His experience at the SEC equips him with a unique perspective to advise clients on accounting and reporting issues impacting public companies. He's also the leader of the firm's Technical Resource Group for share-based compensation and a member of the firm’s International Financial Reporting Standards Technical Resource group. During his career at Moss Adams, he has worked in both our Seattle and Los Angeles offices.
