Gerardo has provided accounting services to private and public middle-market and emerging growth companies since 2002. He provides assurance services, consults on complex technical and accounting matters, and assists with internal control assessments for clients in the technology, life sciences, manufacturing and distribution, and professional services industries. Gerardo also examines compliance with regulatory and business contracts and oversees the development of audit plans for financial statement audits. He is knowledgeable of the SEC’s conflict minerals rule and assists clients with various aspects of their conflict mineral compliance programs.

Gerardo currently serves as a member of the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility Advisory Board and has led various firm-wide engagement management initiatives and technical training sessions regarding revenue recognition, equity-based transactions, and cost accounting.
