Megan has practiced public accounting since 1996. She provides business assurance, financial consulting, and SEC reporting services to publicly held, private equity-backed, and privately held entities in the energy and real estate industries. Megan’s SEC experience spans several industries, including energy, mining, industrial services, real estate, and financial services.
Due to her extensive experience in the energy industry, she assists clients with a broad range of technical and strategic issues.
In addition to her engagement roles, Megan spends significant time in her firm leadership roles—as the partner in charge of the Dallas office where she focuses on clients, market and community involvement, and personnel development. Megan is also a member of the firm’s executive committee, where she contributes to the strategic direction of the firm.
Early in her career, Megan worked for a vertically integrated oil and gas company. She was named a Who’s Who in Energy by the Dallas Business Journal in 2013 and 2014. Currently, she sits on the North American Petroleum Conference (NAPAC) board and is co-chair for the AICPA Oil & Gas Conference.
An alumna of Texas A&M University, Megan has called Allen, Texas, and the DFW Metroplex home for over 20 years. She’s an avid fan of Aggie Athletics and active member of the 12th Man Foundation.
