Many companies that grant equity to employees rely on sell-to-cover to collect employee tax obligations associated with restricted stock releases. While widely used, this approach can result in unexpected short-term capital gains or losses and may reduce the overall value employees ultimately retain from their equity awards.
Join this webinar where we’ll explore the challenges of traditional sell-to-cover strategies and how they impact key stakeholders — including employees, stock plan administrators and executive leadership.
We’ll then introduce our innovative Sell-to-Cover Wave Sale Platform that leverages real-time weighted average sale prices to improve tax withholding accuracy, streamline administration and often help participants retain more value from their restricted stock releases.
