Biography

Heather has worked in the health care finance industry since 2011. Her primary area of focus is provider reimbursement, in which she assists hospitals and health systems report their Medicare Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) and uncompensated care reimbursement.

Heather prepares Medicare DSH and Worksheet S-10 data for initial and amended filing cost reports, reviews and drafts hospital financial assistance policies, oversees Medicare DSH and Worksheet S-10 audits and appeals, and prepares Medicare Bad Debts for providers.

Additionally, Heather has prepared and presented many webinars that provide reimbursement-specific education to health care providers across the nation.
