Biography

Kristen has practiced public accounting since 2004. She has extensive experience assisting public and private companies with sales and use tax matters. Her expertise includes sales and use tax transaction planning and compliance, including transaction structuring, determining product and service taxability, and creating tools to assist clients with sales and use taxes in daily operations. Kristen also provides analysis and procedural recommendations for transaction processing; nexus analysis and planning, including voluntary disclosure agreements; due diligence projects involving the calculation of FAS 5/ASC 450 reserves; state tax audits and appeals; and sales and use tax refund reviews.

Kristen serves clients across a variety of industries, including construction, hospitality, manufacturing and consumer products, oil and gas, restaurants, and retail. She is a certified member of the sales and use tax division of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation.
